Deep in a hidden valley, it is the beauty of the location that attracts regular visitors. The house is surrounded by hillsides, which are full of local wildlife - deer, foxes, porcupines, badgers and wild boar. Above fly a pair of nesting eagles while swallows dip down to catch a fleeting dip in the pool. At night, the fireflies come out. The land extends to approximately 10 hectares with woodland, mountain stream and hillsides. All children of all ages love A Parino. While the TV and Internet are available, few actually use it. Most, especially the younger ones are playing down by the stream, where they build dams and catch tadpoles or frogs. The older ones go wandering in the hills or swim in the pool. There are also board games available: chess, scrabble, and playing cards available when they prefer the coolness of being inside.
